Recently we went out and about to make some new pictures about public transport on the London Underground. Transport for London are improving step free access in more tube stations, and we were more than pleased to be involved in helping develop their accessible information. It was a bit noisy and a bit scary for some of us but we didn’t give up even though it was really busy.
The pictures are not cut-out like the usual photosymbols. Sometimes it works better to capture the whole scene. We went on a journey looking at steps, lifts and ramps - ending up on a platform with step-free access onto the train. In the end we had a great time. The new pictures will appear in the library later this month.
