Do I need special skills to use EasyMaker?
No. EasyMaker is designed to be simple and intuitive. Just upload your content (or describe it), review the draft, adjust images if you wish, and unlock it when you are ready to share.
How does the token system work?
You don't need tokens to create or edit drafts. Tokens are only used when you unlock your finished document to share it. Unlocking removes the watermark, creates a shareable link, and gives you every format at once. You can top up your account anytime you need from our token page.
How much do tokens cost?
You can buy tokens in different-sized bundles depending on your needs. See the options and prices on our token page. Buy the number you need — or stock up and save with bigger bundles.
Do tokens expire?
No, your tokens stay safely in your account until you use them — they don’t expire.
Can I share tokens with other people?
Yes. If you work in the same organisation and share the same email domain (for example, @charity.org.uk), you can share tokens across your team.
Can I get a refund for used or unused tokens?
No. Once purchased, tokens are non-refundable — whether they have been used or not.
What do I get when I make an Easy Read pack?
You can download your Easy Read pack in different formats, including A4 PDF, mobile-friendly version, web version, and audio. You can also share direct links by email, text, or add them to your website.
Can I add my own logos and branding?
Yes. You can add your organisation’s logo and set your brand colours in your EasyMaker settings. These will then be used on your cover pages.
Can I edit my document later?
Once a document is finished, it stays set. However, you can duplicate any document in your EasyMaker library and make changes to the copy whenever you like.
Who owns the Easy Read packs I create?
The text and generated text you upload are yours. Photosymbols Ltd retains the copyright to any images, but you are fully licensed to use them inside your EasyMaker documents as much as you like, with no extra costs or restrictions.
Is EasyMaker secure? What happens to my uploaded content?
Your content is securely stored in your EasyMaker account. We do not share, sell, or use your uploaded documents, generated text, or converted packs for any purpose other than delivering the service to you. For more details, please see our Privacy Notice.
Can I use EasyMaker images in other projects?
If you also have a Photosymbols subscription, yes — you can use the images more widely under your subscription licence. Otherwise, EasyMaker images are licensed for use only inside the documents you create with EasyMaker.
What happens to images I generate with AI inside EasyMaker?
You can reuse your generated images in your EasyMaker documents. Some of the best AI-generated images may be manually reviewed and added to the Photosymbols library to help improve the quality for everyone.
What if I get stuck?

What happens if I’m not happy with a conversion?
Most of the time, you’ll find you can easily tweak the text and images to create a document you’re happy with. If you’re not satisfied after making changes, you can reject the document. When you reject a document, you won’t be charged any tokens, and you’ll have the option to leave feedback to tell us what went wrong — whether it’s the text, the images, or something else. Your feedback helps us to keep improving EasyMaker for everyone. Please note: Tokens you spend on generating images are not refunded if you reject a document, but generate images are saved to your Personal images library, ready for you to reuse in future packs at no extra cost.
