Part of the Easy Read Bundle
Dates and times people can see at a glance
Make a calendar page, a clock or a from-to picture for any appointment, meeting or event. Choose the date and time and DateMaker draws it for you in seconds, ready for your Easy Read document.
No drawing, no design skills and no AI, so the time is always right.
What you can make
Every picture is a clean square drawn to the same clear design, so dates and times look the same right through your document.
A full date
Day, date and month, with the year along the bottom.
A calendar page
Just the day and the month, big and bold.
A clock face
Clear numbers and hands for any time.
A digital clock
Like the clock on a cooker. Choose its colour.
Both clocks together
For readers who know one kind of clock better than the other.
Date and time side by side
The day and the time together in one picture.
From one time to another
Start and end times with an arrow, a short heading and a Library picture.
The year on its own
When the year matters, give it a tile of its own.
These are real DateMaker pictures, shown exactly as DateMaker makes them.
Three steps, a few seconds
The picture changes as you choose, so you see it straight away.
-
Choose the date, the time or both
Add an end time to show when something starts and finishes.
-
Make it yours
Pick a clock face or a digital clock, a colour, a short heading, and a Library picture to go with it.
-
Use it
Download it, copy it straight into your document, or save it to My Favourites.
Why a picture of the time helps
Easy Read is for people who find reading hard. A clear picture of the date or the time sits beside the words and does half the explaining.
-
Times written the Easy Read way
12-hour times like 2pm, not 14:00, as the Easy Read Standard recommends. You can switch to a 24-hour clock if you need one.
-
One look for every date
Every calendar and clock follows the same design, so readers learn it once.
-
Always correct
DateMaker draws each picture exactly from what you choose. It doesn't use AI, so the hands never point to the wrong time.
-
Kept with your pictures
Save a picture and it goes into My Favourites, beside your Library pictures.
Good to know
DateMaker has very few limits. Here they are.
-
Up to 50 downloads or copies a day
For each person, counted over the last 24 hours. Saving to My Favourites doesn't count.
-
Short headings
Headings can be up to 10 characters, so words like Swimming or Birthday fit clearly.
-
Pictures from the Photo Library
You can add any Photo Library picture. Inspired by CHANGE pictures can't be added.

Questions
Anything else? Email ask@photosymbols.com.
Who can use DateMaker?
Everyone on an Easy Read Bundle subscription. It isn't part of the Photo Library or EasyMaker on their own.
Can I use a 24-hour clock?
Yes. Times like 2pm are the default because they're easier to read, but you can switch to 24-hour times like 14:00.
Can I add a picture?
Yes. Search the Photo Library from inside DateMaker and add a picture to a time, for example a swimmer for swimming lessons.
What do I get?
A square PNG picture. Download it, or copy it and paste it straight into Word, EasyMaker or an email.
Does DateMaker use AI?
No. Every picture is drawn exactly from the date and time you choose, so it's always right.
Where do saved pictures go?
Into My Favourites in the Photo Library, so you can find them again.
