We've kicked off the new year with some big changes at Photosymbols – a new website, new subscription options, and a clearer focus on what we do best.

A simpler way to subscribe

We've moved away from our old token-based system to straightforward subscriptions. You now have two core products to choose from:

Photo Library gives you unlimited access to our full collection of Easy Read images – thousands of photographs featuring people with learning disabilities, updated regularly and ready to use in your documents.

EasyMaker is our document creation tool, now available as a standalone subscription. Design Easy Read manually with our guided block editor, or let our custom AI convert any document into accessible format. You get real-time accessibility feedback as you work, export to multiple formats, and it keeps getting better as we add new features.

You can subscribe to either one separately, or bundle them together at a reduced price.

A new website to match

If you've visited photosymbols.com recently, you'll have noticed things look a bit different. We've rebuilt the site to make it easier to find what you need, clearer about what we offer, and faster to use. It's cleaner, it works better on phones, and it's a foundation we can build on.

What's coming next

We're genuinely excited about 2026. With the new platform in place, we can focus on the things our customers have been asking for – more image content, more document formats, better accessibility tools, and tighter integration between the library and EasyMaker.

We're also continuing to develop our training courses, with new modules planned for later this year.
