Over the past few weeks, we’ve made PictureMaker available to all our Library subscribers as a beta, giving people a chance to explore creating their own AI images for Easy Read.
It’s been lovely to see how popular it’s become. Sometimes you need a picture of a particular situation, and finding exactly the right image can be tricky. PictureMaker offers another way: describe what you need and create an image to suit the information you’re making.
Moving to the Easy Read Bundle
From 1 October, PictureMaker will become part of the Easy Read Bundle, bringing its beta availability to all Library subscribers to an end.
Pictures and tools together
The Easy Read Bundle brings together our Photo Library and EasyMaker, combining pictures with tools for creating Easy Read documents. PictureMaker fits naturally alongside them—giving you another resource when the picture you need isn’t already in the library.
Our aim is to bring the pictures and practical tools you need for Easy Read together in one place, with room to create something more specific when you need it.
What this means for your subscription
If you already subscribe to the Easy Read Bundle, your PictureMaker access will continue as usual.
For other Library subscribers, beta access will end on 1 October. Your existing subscription will otherwise continue as normal.

If you haven’t explored PictureMaker yet, there’s still time to try it before 1 October. Have a go at creating a picture you’ve struggled to find, or something specific to the information you’re working on.
If you’re not on the Easy Read Bundle, this is a chance to see whether PictureMaker is useful to you and something you’d like to keep using.
